Fieldfare Psychology is led by Dr Joe White, an educational psychologist based in Cheshire and working across the North West and surrounding areas.
Professional background
Dr Joe White is an educational psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and holds chartered status with the British Psychological Society.
Before qualifying as an educational psychologist, Joe worked as a teacher in a large, three-form entry primary school in Greater Manchester.
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology, The University of Manchester (2019-2022).
- Master of Science (MSc) in Psychology, with distinction, Manchester Metropolitan University (2017-2018).
- Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Primary Education, The University of Manchester (2014-2015).
- BA (Hons) in English Literature, first class, The University of Manchester (2009-2012).
Joe also has a special interest in neurodiversity and has trained in the administration of both the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (ADI-R). In his capacity as an educational psychologist with a specialism in neurodevelopmental assessment, he works on two diagnostic pathways.
In addition, Joe is also trained to administer AIM3 assessments and has undertaken training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (Level 1).
Away from work, Joe spends time with his family, including his son, and socialising with his friends.
